ziyad almond syrup
wwhich if this goes to plan is a hint that a, i went to also a jerusalem market and b, have a fine! selection of possibilities- mai tais?…you try to find almond syrup…it’s a bitch i had to use creme de noyeaux as that’s easier to find but not the same almond smack of taste, or something mythbusters prooved true- almond poppyseed cake…but poppyseed muffins will indeed get you to fail a drug screen for opiate testing…. but that’s if i get to the next market shoppe
-
with LUCK, i get to hit savoryspiceshop.com for spices… like blue poppyseeds in just the right amount for almond poppyseed cake. or varying other spices to make this month of eleiminating my cupboard stocks so i can refresh them happen to be a joy not a drudgery.
-while many of you shant care and maybe quit reading to see this last line, this means chocolate coffees while they last! also simple things like cornbread, chicken with a decidedly casserole au gratin bentt, barribean black bean sopup , sweet red bean onion dip – bring veg tray, chicken spaghetti…the red sauce kind with cheese., enough tea to drowned a person, and a pot of mongolian lamb soup…yes you heard me fine dip your treasures in soup with jelly clear noodles. carrot celery? nope, cabbage, lamble noodle green onion maybe mushroom if i like you as it don’t excite me any, cress perhaps and radish for the peppery bite, raspberry leaves if i can find them ..and mint ones…afterall lamb without jelly isn’t the same.
