Sea Side
Cook the fish! (Tummy grumbles) Okay already!
Pecan Encrusted Whitefish Salad.
- Filet Cod
- Soy sauce
- Honey
- Roast Cumin (ground)
- Pecan Chips (crushed)
- Montreal Chicken seasoning *salt-free or low salt seasoning
- Flour
- Crushed Red Pepper
- Olive Oil/Butter to fry
- Salad mix
optionally you may add more zest than what i had with abit of diced apple or ringlette onion
I dressed mine not with a drizzle of oil but homemade Italian dressing.
It amuses me now as I see the picture of the earth in space with a overhead venthood lamp sun that I frickin’ should have made more effort to continent! lol almost had Africa going…oooooops perhaps not the right continent but oh well, maybe next sea side-SALAD
Edit
if one wants a more substantial meal, perhaps this gem from my past parties- chef Gabrielle’s Peruvian Potato Kebab

Your snack is adorable enough
@MichellelyNg - there, a more substantial dinner
and I get to remember a friend, Hospice care is foreboding and foreshadowing but still bright dish and that sure was a fun moment, Grudge’n'Ginger 2010
@starmanjones - food is enjoyable no matter when.
omg mr. j. that looks sooo good!
An incontinent globe. Pieces of landmass hanging over the edge.
I’m not one for seafood but that does look good
I haven’t meet a fish I don’t like…to eat.
And that looks yummy!

And, HA!, I can see the world!
HUGS!
@Peridot21 - save room for peridot
@Roadkill_Spatula - haha someone caught that!
@godfatherofgreenbay - thank you.
Yum and Ty for sharing.
@AdamsWomanFell - yes I read that funny. pre coffee’d and all that, but you’d laugh with how that read to me. message in a bottle..shake it for a fine dressing!
in a moment pour over salad of your consciousness. thanks for the smile.
@Grannys_Place - I’m curious, I’ll look up the nutrition on it- that was a 300 calorie salad with high protein at 15g *46 woman, 56 men recommended daily according to our center of disease control
sodium is 800mg which is high for even a meal I try to keep at a target of 1600mg’s sodium a day for instance never once made it lol but i do have days I’m under 2000mg and overall I’m cutting or monitoring sodium intake…you know that counts
- 18 grams carbs most ly as in 99% sugars.. duh honey ain’t free even if healthy.
literally a diabetic trick meals on smaller plates because of our requirement of processing sugar- a salad plate not a dinner plate is our meals or the rule of a fist- that’s our dinner/meal. smaller plates heaped are better than big ones half empty. it literally is far easier just to know the carbs for the insulin or monitoring
but heres the glee of it- you can split this salad in half! dinner roll or two and everyone has managed carbs and salt and a light meal or this as a big fish side salad lunch that youd think is a meal on a salad plate
you’d have laughed watching me at the counter sampling my “drugs” of condiments to make this one. bbq sauce mmmm but nnh, honey mustard not with pecans not in the mood honey butter, not thats rolls you dork. soy sauce with anything fried= it’s going to burn huge…sugar. lol the internal debate with a lot of naughty sampling I had me a idea
@starmanjones - yes, please!

@Peridot21 -
ohmai. looks good.
Ah, Potatoes- the
other white -er never mind.
I prefer fries, though.
Don’t worry about
continents. Be proud that you
sculpted Pangæa.

@AdamsWomanFell - Never met a fish you didn’t like to eat, eh. Are you, perchance, familiar with the Sea Bear? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFRfkg6gIAY)
@Lakakalo - I’ve not met SeaBear before. I will check out the link!
@Lakakalo - Ha! Poor Squidward!
I have had bear before…it tasted like roast beef to me.
@liloloveslilies - I need to read my comment box more thuroughly
– thank you
@Lakakalo - it’s call something else – pangea punted now um – guess I’m old, forgot.
@starmanjones -
You can always call
it your own stylized abstract
Interpretation.
@AdamsWomanFell - Er… what about a Sea Rhinoceros?
@Lakakalo -
speaking on that thought
the general swagger forth
win, you sods, just win!
