  • Simpler Fare.

     

    buns, chili (no beans,) beef boullion, ground beef 

    -  can opener, spatulah, spoon, frying pan.

    brown and drain meat – I use a plate and paper towel like I was cooking bacon.  add boulion and cook out said boulion.  add chili and heat through.  cheese and onion are optional.

  • @bonmots - :) thank you  and I hope you enjoy.  the one pictured is a honker of a roll.  what kind rather clueless as they wre given me *thank you, of course*  it was over six inches round and sourdoughy.  ;) that big a roll and it was a dense roll is roughly a 1200 calorie sandwich 40g f.a.t. 55% rda cholesterol, ~55g protein, ~100% sodium rda even cust in half it’s a monstrosity of a sandwich.  best guess… and hint – one should cut this one in halves :D aside from sodium levels this sadwich is not rediculous as choices go  with no salt vegetables  :) there, just on the off chance you watch what you eat as well.I don’t mean no salt added or lower sodium I mean zero salt steam them fresh :D .

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - simple easy Nd yummy :)   :D   I’m from Michigan so I believe something’s just not quite right here since it’s on a hamburger roll not a hotdog one :D ..

  • yeah my first high school was near Iowa where the loose meat craze seemed to boil over to national attention with the Roseanne show.  Anyway the stuff they served at school was basically just hamburger and then they had a bar where you could apply your own sauces.  Nacho cheese loose meat sandwiches…score.  And something I noticed, that whenever they served it there were fewer squirrels on campus.
