mom’s day 12
I’ve lived here two weeks at the new home I’ve edged half the yard, done various projects inside. shelf for kitchen purchase and cords plugs wire chasing to make a useful videogame area although with out a remote people find the set up far too challenging to use for movies it also plays. apparently I don’t want to turn on a light- fuck the light I’m blind so it’s seven button two rca jack fie cords all need to be in used plus to buttons on the videogame deck and 8 on the controller far too challenging to use without pictures and such hmf. lazy sighted people.
hahaha I’m trying really hard to wait til there is not just progress but significan acheivement worth crowing about. this place needs digging out- once dug out all the tools will magically show up to do the work. I live backwards to most people actually so pardon me if the incorrect slur of chinese labour is used as most know doing things the most laborious way like thats any sin but the slur is somehow people who work are sinners- jerks but yes, this place is lots of projects and expensive runs to the dump/recycling yards befor it looks worth showing publically. I expect the work will take into september thus don’t expect anything til fall which is sad I would love to care about my home now and share it but I know better til it’s largely done and I’m don’e venting about how it got done – and still show something of results it’s justbetter off a secret. a secret hopefully not forever shame . I don’t feel ashamed but tick tock to get years of waste turned back around.
golden corral was the emergency option for mothers day: it was a seventy person line to get in the door and a 20 minute wait not too bad actually very good stuff.
I got two plates versus the half a cup of soup I should have with diabetes. all holiday outtings always find me sugar un ready for them and you get precisely one 3/4 full fist of food that’s the correct volume of food. two small dinner plates should be 3 fists of food I believe so in a way I over ate like anyone else.
I got mostly kid’s bar? popcorn shrimp golden fried shrimp, turnip greens , fried filet fish, rottissery chicken burnt damn them, a piece of steak grissle city! yum none the same, taco nachos of beens easy cauldron chese and chips which when very good with the steamed rice and orange chicken…green beens and I think I snaked a bit of fried bloomer onion in there too, the tea unsweetened an four people 3 drinks one being senior was 75
I’m enjoying the last half of my 30 of beer coors extra gold tomorrow barring rain is sanding day. the washer mysteriously works, I have laundry to do, I have about 60 bucks til the end of the month I think. I have done rather well on my hoped for budget of money to projects done lil more work and voila I’ll be out of money but in will nicer home. I don’t fear poorness but I want it to hit with a bit of satisfaction and achievement. why pay well to be broke and dileased
lolif you wann see private but current pictures to see how I shine something up I have a copy of whats on file – I shine up a bit. it’s 12 I’m 37 grey sweater jeans and I’m still the largest frame of the family but i weigh the least. lol

that sounds like a good one. gosh, I used to go to the buffets with my MIL and just kill them (golden corral is her favorite). she really encourages that sort of thing, for some reason. diabetic, too. anyway, I kind of miss it. still do buffets when she’s in town, but try to stick to meat and vegetables these days. many plates of them.
I didn’t know you moved. Looking forward to the photos. You or the house.
@distractedbyzombies - :) the public one’s ‘ll come- and I think you may have noticed last year I kept up better here
posted more commented more it’s been nearly a year to date that changed abruptly
it happens
but hey I’ve neat speedo project I’ll never get to send out wanna see the sketch work on it? don’t cuss me I never did all that well in art
. I’ll need an email I don’t remember if I have your’s or not.
It sounds like you’ve gotten quite abit accomplished for just two weeks and I can certainly understand not wanting anybody to see it until it’s in tip top shape or just the way you want it. It takes time and effort and only then are you willing to show it off.
Golden Corral sounds great. I’ve heard of the place but never been. I think there’s one in this area. Will have to see if I can find it.
Glad you enjoyed your day.
@MzSilver - happiness is a cold beer. I’ll need another round – the more nites into hey make thelemonade continues. I know this treads into the last post’s sentiments labels bother for the beer I require to motivate through projects but also because well I like it- but do you know I wish it wasn’t a snobbish outting- like you know you’ll see regular america out and happy and it’s less than fun to here did you know they do diabetic meet up here? look at the fat people- she hasn’t seen her shoes in a decade! I mean Iwante/ed to cultivate love for all and someone spills filth to that rrgh. I’d like and remain happy people get a joyous moment- not oh goodness is that a suit or are you really carrying that about?… I mean jeez. forgive me if I learned the hard way I’m surely special yeah but the prevailing winning oppinion is not and rarely is my ideas. it doesn’t change mine and yet lol it’s hard not to win or convince and not feel a touch invalidated – oh wait that’s part of the new years resolution now lol not to let other’s choices /success not invalidate me no matter how opposite they are to my doings
. yes projects. it’s 80 gallons packed of veggie matter into finding the yard that and another such will be the front yard and now side yard and alley all the way around! to keep after. then yada the making lines again where there ‘s to be stuff
. I suggest turnip greens
- they’re good. no plate of mine didn’t come without getting greens the gbs were good – okay already so junk captures my eye too
happy day to continue through your week-.
@starmanjones - Love turnip greens. My Mom was from Texas. I learned how to cook some greens and black eyed peas. Yes indeed… Thanks for the good week ahead. Same to you…
@MzSilver - you didn’t say the bad vegetable….winces
lol I’m not a fan of the chalky black eyed pea. in fact odds are if it’s of high calcium b-e. p.’s are, I am not a big fan.
anasazi beans also are on the hall and oats roster – “say no-go!” *I can’t go for that. but turnip greens and bacon? yes but come on texas once removed, lets california you up some with the kale and tomatoes.
now let’s link and pictures

now you’ve perhaps seen it next to the turnip greens….now note the stalks… they’re edible but like a asparagus whether you like those critters or not, the stalks cook at a different rate than the leaves. or as asparagus demonstrates – the base cooks slower than the tops/tips. now envision yourself swifly ripping or slicing those stalks from the kale leaves. now the leaves they’re a bit much to try to eat in one bite so, uh, inchish bits two inchish strips whatever . and dice to bitty bitty bits the stalk…..keep seperate.

minced garlic- y really should risk the annoyance of mincin’ some garlic
bit of oil warmed garlic then ruin the oil with water a whole handful? nope 2 cups mid medium sized pot with lid. once boiling again not frying the garlic, add stalk bits.

or rotel, dont freekin care. but I warn you you have to fry the stalks 5 minutes in oil if you’re going to use diced roma/plum tomatoes.
now, ordinarily I don’t use fresh garlic- it’s a hassle doubling my prep time – so after a moment with the diced tomatoes and boiled stalks, I add a CRAP TON 2-3table spoons of mccormick’s montreal chicken seasoning.
now
magic time
kale tops go in.
lid it.
cook ‘em how you like ’em coating once or twice in the liquid yum of tomoted up garlic joy. if you’rea stewer gal oi, add water and stew to a disgustingly over done lol way still yummy stewed version but I eat mine far before then. they’re greener and yummier.
eat well.
@starmanjones - YUM to asparagus, as long as they remain crispy. There is nothing worse than limp asparagus. The more garlic the better as far as I’m concerned. I do LOVE garlicky anything. No No to any overdone veggie. Not my style at all.
Interesting comment about the black eyed peas. When cooked SLOWLY with bacon (or ham hocks) and lots of garlic, they come out very tasty and full of flavor.
The kale and tomatoes sound delish. I will have to give them a try. Thanks for the instructions. That will help.
Dang! I just finished eating about an hour ago and now I’m hungry. Think I’ll take myself to bed rather than raid the fridge. Probably a good idea since it’s almost midnight. Not the right hour to be eating for sure.
@MzSilver - :D the slyest one I got- – if god didn’t want midnight snacking, he’d not have put a light in the refrigerator.
@starmanjones - AMEN to that comment!!
@MzSilver -
looks for sudden weather.
