  • Dog Defeated!

The dog has been defeated in loving away my main set of glasses to the yard for memorialized burial.  A thank you gift thus is in order.

Wild Berry Zinger herbal tea – this is a sample sized 1 quart’s worth 4 packet affair.  it is often used as the “ticket” to the free tour at Celestial Seasonings Factory – Boulder (really Gunbarrel but yada)  If you would like to enhance your Colorado Tourism experience, perhaps you’ll consider a tour here and stock up on stuff hard to find like  oh, English Toffee Tea is difficult to find outside this factory gift shop and is a delight just CS tea’s have been all my life- in my day it was almond sunset or cranberry apple or apple spice let’s face it tea is an elegant treat. go.  perhaps you’ll like also to step into Ziggies Denver for some serious poetry- august will host another serious gathering at this otherwise blues bar ( schedule will reflect this soon- sat/sunday workshop or just wednesday mid month.)  If you like more birdies possible hiking - be them the critter or the human varieties, consider Mitchell Canyon of near Castlerock Colorado   Brew up a jug of cs. teas to take along for hydration. if you wanna get rocky mountain high…without chemicals… consider hiking St Mary’s glacier just ~40 miles outside of denver- I’m legally blind and can do it with shorts and sandles horribly out of shape safely

Sorry this pictured above can of coffee is breakfast blend, not the better classic roast I have on hand. and yes, there are times I need you to consider exact ingredients- a breakfast blend is wrong for this recipe it’s not dark enough as coffee’s go.  a columbian, a french roast  a terrau..however that’s spelled pronounced. coasta rican gem is also a fine thing.  the point is careful- match your flavors :D

Next in importance is, sugar.  I’m on the fancy side tonight with turbanado sugar or ”sugar in the raw”

How’s about a lil’ Moo Cow?  Milk

and because it’s prettier, Aerosol Cream.

Okay, you get the gist here.  I’m trying to be impressive. I’m succeeding at being impressive here coffees- or about. so just ;) you try being impressive.

In common automatic drip coffee maker, place a couple of tea bags on bottom then coffee then more teabags thenmore coffee.  I suggest making a stronger batch than most of your usual strength unless you make paintable strength coffee – in which case dial it back, eh?… if you use a percolator type machine, like for big party coffee urns -  put coffee and tea then coffee.   If you use a french or brazillian press affair to make your coffee – however you want, tea coffee water brew strain enjoy.but this time with coffee teabags all of them then coffee again.

Take a horribly outrageous amount of sugar and place this in the lidded bowl  splash about as much milk as you need to lighten your coffee all the way.  Make sure lid’s tight and shake the devil outta it.  Seriously, you’ll likely never get all the sugar dissolved but try anyways.  3 minutes over a sink with all the mustard of your muscles. (for those that are diabetic – you do it this way you und up with something right sweetened not sugar crack kid sweetened..if you want sugar crack kid sweet coffee- please make sure to sweeten the coffee addittionaly)

Now, into a mug, pour coffee/tea (it’s a rich black purply looking something sweet smelling- if you fuck up the color ;) you’re hiding it undeer whipped cream heheheheh,) pour in your sugared frothy milk, top with aerosol cream aplenty and serve with a spoon so people can choose to get a milk mustache or not.

    Enjoy.

I have comfier glasses and a wet face from puppy kisses.  I did say thankyou in actions, not words alone.

If you wish to be further impressive, you may top with berries and or some ground spice like CINnamon or nutmeg.

  • OH MY!!! English Toffee Tea? YUM YUM… I do believe I’m going to have to purchase a new notebook just for keeping up with your blogs, luv…

I love Wild Berry Zinger tea, but am not sure about the coffee since it hard wires my heart. We are trying to keep me awake, NOT put me in the hospital.  Hmmm…  Any suggestions?

Glad to hear about the comfier glasses and puppy kisses are so delightful. I’m thinking I should try to get some sleep, but have the feeling it’s not going to be forthcoming again. *sigh…  I do wish I could figure this insomnia thing out… it is, quite honestly, driving me slightly insane, not to mention messing with my blood pressure.

  • @MzSilver - I takeam gunnin’   hmn, 1,2,3,so45a four things for bp control-  I’m having house difficulties with having this like of coffee and need to kick the caffeine consumption- case in point I have managed bp of withing the mark or slightly elevated topside on ful meds at thei height of their intake times… but I have a problem of excitement… I have to often be fasting for my appointment thus if I’m screwed out of sleep I have an entire day to get through without major fluid intake and NO calories… this means caffeine is there. but therein is the problem- with nicotine and caffeine at full rush- yes I know quit smoking dummy,  I ‘m gunnin.  or mid hundreds or around hundreds. which is overdrive.  now I’m one for trying- so I bough half caff, that met with grumbles and then I bought outright decaff and it got snubbed.  … so as I couldn’t find half caff at price I went full coffee bulk buy. and therefore my med regimen changed to stronger controllers or will when I can afford to fill them.  now, I’m also diabetic so I try. try. to avoid real sugar- – it’s hard to monitor.  my  half swet coffee was likely a sugar pop’s worth of sugars tween the cream/milk. and again, that’s half sweet- now tastebuds disagree wildly here- I person don’t mind chlorinated sugar- or splenda and make no bones about it- chlorine as in tap water and splenda contribute to colon cancer later…but splenda is like arties calories free which is the point . nutrasweet is murdered lately for being a “potential” cause of lupis and other murderous neurologically disorderly symptoms….oh aspartame. I forget off the top of my head whether acesulphame potassium is…sorry, odds are it sucks balls for you too. stevia in any form was ruined for me in 96 when I tried it as a natural extract and oi did it taste effing awful…. xyletol… forget that one’s claims but it’s rather disgustingly bitter like sodium saccharin- the one that started the tab diet thing off…it’s just cancerous :D .. if you’ve the fb like you say you do, watching caffeine and sugar subs is tricky. to say the least. this in mind I would in mo with theyumminess. you’re allow a little- it’s not as safe as your humor for you oh naugty one butit is allowable as decaff. and yeah, I do actually know a dibetic diet in many I do try to bring the yum.  and yeah it’s hard to tell myself no to the coffee theregular kind or high test kind with pie.  that’s difficult. :D but yeah ;) enjoy it sometime :D it’s well worth a try. ways is a heart healthy one- deration suggest just have the sugar and perhaps a decalf treat. yes I know what sugar does to fb, it makes it awful- but there is life – just as there is with diabetes. I can’t fix the med stuff or find a freer choice than the regular old watch out for it stuff… however caffeine? watch that. it isn’t a joke- I can show you the tests with and without caffeine. they’re night and day. healthy/unhealthy. as for your diet I’d sugest you be careful to make just ONE cup- carefully pick the size to be limitting yet a true treat as you probably run into problems similar to mine where if you try the yumy thesecond one blows the moderation. now, I’m not suggesting funny one you pick atanker car for a train sized cup decaff or not- that’s immodest :D but pick a small cup and just go hsnortlaugh hog nutswatch the sugar intake and you cover the fb portion of your other needs.  this as a twelve oz mug is  about300 calories if youre sugary about it you should limit that to 200 calories  which I consider half sweet and you’ll manage and yes, this treat therefore is worse than if I drank a coke.  but mmm.

to be honest, my favorite CS tea is sweet coconut thai chai :D .  I enj the true blueberry with almond milk and no I’m not a vegetarian.. I don’t like hemp milk as a beverage rice milk and rice pudding bugs me- tapiocca is booger pudding I’ve hated it all my life.  it is about the only consistancy isue I have .  carefully enjoy the coffee now :D swiss water process coffee decaff is about oh 3 mg caffein versus the 50 of coffeee coffee its not cafeine free but you can have a tiny bit.  :)   I like hearing from you.oy the

  • This sounds almost sinfully good but you know how I am with sugar I would have to use tevia or something like that…but it sounds really good I will have to make some for Jeff hus with the real deal sugar

  • @SisterMae - this is/was meant to blend with whiskey. why, it wfirst you must accept the notion or test me on this- that you can get a coffee nicely flavored by tea – which as odd as this sounds isgod.as thought up as a thank you to the found glasses :) but also  as wingmanning. she was pretty it is the sworn oath of all guys to help the cause..  however, you’ve read me long enough to remember last yearish I did up a nice black cherry cafe bustalo for vignettery.  so lets continue the tea’d coffe education. :D

tea and coffee – odd as it sounds, mix.  well.

best blends are: tarrazu/blueberry, black cherry/french roast,. breakfast blend/peach, the cheapest store blend ever/ pineapple black tea,

worst mixes: anything apple- it just doesn’t work well – you’re better off with applejack and cream or an applier spirit… which defeats the purpose of a safer treat- you know why. there’s a world of yummy naughty drinks I don’t have to coffee it up :D .  green tea in anything darker roasted is gross… most of the time this trick only works because you can not tell or don’t mind the chickory tastes which lets be fair are celestial seasonings. heck gree tea  is only good for a cheap store brand to take the sawdusty taste away….but I warn you this is a one bag to a BIGT pot thing..otherwise you’ll begin to taste tea and you’ll not likely like it….

the point of why it’s tea and coffee is because tea softens water making it smoother. this means well water, tap water, your fancy yay! bottled water… it just makes  saving money elightful.

the thing that got this all started was cinnamon coffee – a taste of Norway.  this was courtesy of a lady skiing into her later eighties and nearly making the century mark. Ragna Dahl I believe.  My mom lit up describing the event :) .  I wasn’t so blessed to try it first hand I had to make my own.  Obviously I branch out from this :D   -  stash brand chai spice is my favorite, bigelow’s constant comment is alright, ground cinnamon clogs the coffee filter badly so you have bury it close to the bottom but still it’s better you don’t try ground cinnamon. cinnomon sticks are expensive and a hassle to regrind for french toast.  or ;) heheheh brazillian shrimp which I heard about as turkey leg stuffed via jacques pepin and just f-ed up  making garlic shrimp…th…   yes cinnamon chicken is good it’s very much indian or brazzilian taste you should consider it :D .at’s not garlic powder! ;)    :) I’ve tried the mangos and other tastes more exotic -  but I warn you I don’t like a nail polish taste and things like lycheefruit, mango – these are very acetoney nailpolishy.  pine apple’s pushin it

  • Oh, yummy. That whipped creamy coffee looks delicious. I can just picture you hugging the doggy and letting him (her?) kiss you. I’m glad you can see better again.

  • Excellent photo!

  • coffee/tea… that sounds dee-lish!

  • @Peridot21 - oh,….it….issssssssss :)

  • Just stopped by to say HI and to give you a big coffee fed happy hug

  • Sounds delicious.  I’ll give my review when I make it :)  Do you have a food blog?!

  • @SisterMae - I poured my  hug back :D morning cup ;)

  • @bluezenith - you’re reading it  :) ;)

  • The dog did what again?

  • @NewDog2 - ;) glasses mover.

  • @starmanjones - oh you mean eye glasses?  Oh yes dogs enjoy nibblin on a nice pair of eyeglasses, the more expensive the better.  I thought you meant a “set of glasses” like he took all your favorite water goblets and buried them in a set which it was hard for a dog to envision bein that organized. PLUS.  A glass is real hard to carry unless you got a huge massive snout. Slippery, I’ve tried it and broke a few.
