    • 4 wildberry zinger bags
    • 8 decaffeinated black tea bags

    nutrition data

    sugar 200g 774 calories

2 – 3.8l depending on age of tea ;) 4 500ml glasses is  193 calories  sweet stuff but if you wait 20 minutes for ice to melt down  it’s roughly 100 calories a serving or less for a HUGE quart of sweeten tea.  or, enjoy fast or slow do not care but this can be healthy or horrible-your choice

2lb’s sugar 1 dollor at dollar store or 25 cents sugar

20 tea bags wildberry zinger – 2.50  or 50 cents fruity tea

    100 tea bags value black tea 3.00 3cents a piece*8 24 cents

sum total, 99 cents a gallon a house full of smiling sugar cracck kids will eliminate this swiftly.

it cost/value is comparable to 2liter soda for 69 once in a blue moon, 80 cents typical loss leader kroger cost and 1.19 for safeway’s refresh, or about half the cost for this versus soda.

    have fun

  • I brew/steep 8 or nine regular old Lipton or house brand tea bags and divide the result into two one gallon containers. Fill the containers the rest of the way up with water and chill for iced tea. Which I have been drinking for over a month, no sugar. I am glad to see a promoter of tea here! I might get adventurous and add some flavored tea. Yum. Berry.

  • @sleekpunk - :) Its on par with a choice for most between koolaid – only sun tea gets aleg up -funny I’ve hod coffee makers principally for tea.  Iknow the usual complaint is the prep – dang – evenwithout afancy kettle its easy to pot up enough for pasta and (2 persons) and make agallon of tea to pour over ice/chilled wa.  its fun!

  • at first, when i saw the 774 calories, i was like ack! no way… but that’s not per serving so.. whew! ;) sounds yummy-ful! :)

  • @Peridot21 - lol it works out to the same 50 ish calories per 8 oz glass as most sweeter teas which is about right ;) …  come on over and you too can tea.

  • yup. that is proper teabaggin’  (better for people than soda, too!)

  • @Bels_Kaylar - nah, made me angry and hateful snippy. ;) still have to watch the sugar. I need a few …points….to adjust my outlook…a …needling…or two ;)

  • I spent my afternoon brewing tea with my fancy iced tea brewer.  I used 6 bags of the wild orange tazo tea, a splash of orange powerade, and some powdered lemonade.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - don’t mis understand this is meant to say it’s memorable…it goes around in my cup :D … but “oo ee oo ah ah ting TANG” wanna some of yours, dang.

  • sounds quite refreshing!

  • @mlbncsga - :)  I have only one cranky who only wanted to poo it because his little sister made mommy like it before he got to ;)

  • I’ll just take the Zinger, which I added to my shopping list. I like it quick and easy.  I know, I know… I’m lazy…

  • I drink at least 2-cups of hot-tea every day. It’s very good for you and keeps your appetite down and snacking at night to zero.

  • Now that sounds good!  I do not drink much tea because I drink alot of water.  And I drink NO soda at all!  So this sounds like something I will try.

I still haven’t made the fiery green beans.  Got too busy and haven’t been able to cook but one time this week!

  • @MzSilver - ( carefull I dont ornery you up a coffee with it ;) )

  • @dw817 - :) mmmmmm do you have any favorites?  formosa oolong’s mine

  • @DandelionBall - lol it happens! when you can :)   i may optto pester

  • @starmanjones - Umm … At the moment all I have is a 40-pack wooden box of Earl Gray flavor. After I do this electric thingie to my head I was gonna make a cup and sweeten it with a bit of honey.

What ? No MINI for a cup of tea or coffee ? Man, I could think up some good MINIs they could add here.

  • @dw817 - lol-putin the paper for it ;)   — earlage, earl grey.  bergamont flavored black tea. mmmmmmmm.  I like twinning’s best, bigelowcelestial seasonings,st dalfour in that order http://www.marktwendall.com ‘s looseleaf is good but until I’m 5 ordersdeep on stuff I dont go blathering…. however mtw’s has a favorite  of mine and my all time favorite too (all time favorite  extra fancy grade formosa oolong, favorite, lapseng tsu chong., I did like their apple cranberry one too.) next in favorite is david rio fuji apple,  twinning’s irishbrekfast tea,  then pappy’s sassafras tea .  earlage is in my top ten you can bet on it but I still go through a faviety of teas I’m fortunate in that area :D //////9thanksfor the mini and the rec – you just needed more views~! hope some of the writers that don’t laugh at mine read you too)

  • Welp, my favorite tea is Chai, Starman. It’s really good ! To me it tastes like licorice and cinnamon combined. There’s more info on it HERE.

Plain Chai is what I have when I can get it. Oo Loong makes me a little light-headed (according to Rachel) so I don’t drink that anymores.

It’s nice to find a fellow tea drinker ! My G/F just drinks SODA and my B/F just drinks SODA and that stuff will eat the paint off a car so I’m not sure it’s really so good for you.

Regarding views, I’m – not sure if I wanna post a plug or not. They’re kinna ‘spensive in here it seems and I’m up to 1,000 views so far so I’m happy with that.
