Oh I love flying saucers I want to go for a ride… It would be fun to zip all over the world freaking people out but we would need to go into warp speed if any nut started shooting
Space seems to like the flying sphere, or nearly sphere, too, but to purposely travel in any intended direction, the saucer makes sense; though, I can’t see us on a Frizbee type thing making us dizzy. I do see an image like that of those hub caps that make the wheels look like they’re not even moving (I think it’s an urban trend) regardless of the car going 60+ MPH.
I’d want to ride in a saucer. Sometime in my life I’d love to experience zero gravity.
Confession: I watch Chasing UFOs whenever I find an episode on televison to record on my dvr. I find them fascinating.

interesting thoughts about the whole propulsion/navigation thing, though.
@Bels_Kaylar - I can’t as easily find it but – a lot of material is covered on “mission to mars” a vhs era later nineties presentation from some guy sitting in a chair by a computer with a schpeel. it really is interesting how…. politics… we must generate enthusiasm for these lesser priority to many ideas… versus carding every latino building a wall until they have more money than us then wondering why they laugh and I mean laugh to use that very wall to say north the gringo ghetto and lock there prettier gate. while yeah I’d like in a utopia to have my space rah rah my space – life isn’t distopian or utopian – just real… and the movement of globalization it to far gone to stop now… one must be keeping an eye on making new circles of opportunity….blah. blah…
