    whoomp. here it is.

I made about the simplest roast beef this evening:

    blade roast

    carrots

    red bell peppers

    water

    cornstarch

    -

a slow cooker insert, preheated 400F oven, a roast and nada else for a while. 4 hours from frozen roast just thawed enough to peel the paper pad off it, after 3 hours in with the hot water…and the veg carrots then peppers. water half way up.  despite the hot water the liner cracked anyways  not through but still bugger.

    -

I paid the last of my monthly bills  – I’m happy to be abundant that way.

I have pipe and enough of the stuff for a day or two if I want it.  I expect to quit.

I had me a solo festival last evening as I felt like it

I cleaned up in the yard today…ah pennence…oo that lysinopril sure makes bending over a surprise grey standing back up.

I’m out to a british car show tomorrow. there may or may not be pictures

I have my drawin pad so I may be doing up representations of me ideas.

I’m holding in the ones which is nice (not yet WITH food but after digestion). (sugar control)

  • Roast does sound good…I fixed steak and baked tators for super poor gpldie always fruit loops when I do anything in the over she just knows I am going to set the fire alarm off again

  • @SisterMae - :) lol.  I came home to the howl of announcement… it wwas GREAT.

  • Yay to everything. Drawings and photos, please.

  • Now I’m craving roast. Thanks! Enjoy your car show.

  • @sleekpunk - lemme get some smuding in on that paper are you on the list of gaek and toss

  • @LastStopCrazyTown - I will and I’m all pipey smelling lol – and sweatered… :D with hhiking boots  lol.  I’ll look a tad dressed for the occasion.

  • ditto what our sleek-one says. a british car? so need pics. or drawings. drawings would be good ;)

  • The roast sounds yummy. I do need to get a small slow cooker and have added it to my shopping list. It will make things easier on the cooking side and keep the apt from getting hot using the oven which doesn’t seem to have good temperature control.

Sounds like a list of enjoyable things that were done or will be.

Hope your weekend has been wonderful.  *hugs…

  • @Bels_Kaylar - s7 or was it i7 y269 smallrougeone… photobucket…I list tea time a charcoal which is the only drawing draw i have about  not a skill set ;)   however the car I liked about the most is a lotus  turbo espirit late 80′s  damn are the knee checkers (LOW  to the ground)

  •  or@MzSilver - yes, it has.  for the above and more :)    I think I’m tough on kitchenware.   I made american rice out of my jasmine rice up… fat lukewarm water stirring.  chinese  or sticky rice is COLD water no fat and leave it alone (past a proper rinse if it’s that kind of rice)  it too 18 minutes and 9 to rest, ortwice as long as packet directions…glad I know how to cook.  but it took til a black spot with the butter to know it was time or nearly  yes ghee rice   it made me gleeful the dogs loved me.     I think I got a couple pictures worth the snap of the shutter.  however the prettiest car wasn’t on the usual display it was an alpha romeo  similar to tthis  streetside.

  • It’s been so long since I’ve made a roast… I hope you enjoyed yours. A British car show would be fun . Photos would also be fun. You plan to quit the pipe? It’s a nice feeling to have all the bills paid . peace & smiles

  • @peacenow -  store sliced lunch meat is listing at arround 2 oz a sandwich portion.  common household methods of non preserved meat are 3 days unless frozen.  as I aim for all connecting tissue to dissolve  and succeed it is delightfully tender for first dinner its easily sliced the next day after it hardens again and thus once sliced is easily nukable or cold sereved as ay lunch meat.  it goes great with a lil of the cooking juices or…au jus.  you lose about 20% of the weight cooking it to expressed juices.  so ;) it is roughtly a monster dinner lunch  then some sandwiches throughout the 3 months stuff freezes well for.  just on the off chance this helps a hazel-eyed one consider 2 am grocery wanderings.

  • I’m surprised the cooker insert cracked in the oven…I found a pampered chef stoneware roaster pan at a yard sale for three bucks and it’s the best cooking thing I own  I loved it even more when I found out their about a hunnerd bucks new!   Good luck with that sugar control

  • @starmanjones - I’m a freak and don’t care for roast beef sandwiches. I make a gravy from the juice (hey – don’t judge me – I’m Southern). When I have left over roast it’s in hopes I have every thing left over (gravy and veggies) to go with it. When I don’t have all that I cut it up and put bar-b-que sauce on it. It’s the only ways I eat left over roast. Nope – I don’t even like Arby’s. Heh. I don’t eat a lot of lunch meat. Occasionally turkey.
