LOL you are so funny
ah, yeah. sounds good, Josh.
heh. i thought if the beans were rinsed (after being soaked, or if buying in cans) that would reduce the …gas thing. no? it seems to help, or i have a vivid imagination. i might have run across something that said doing that (rinsing) reduced the nutrition value, though. although i think i’d be willing to forego said value
@SisterMae - lets just say you’re invited to a rare outdoor winter gathering
@plantinthewindow - heh
@Bels_Kaylar - nothing I read really helps even that seaweed stuff… but my lament is the trygliceride reducer gemfibrozil – is thee culprit the beans just wont aide the cause
@starmanjones - oh. argh.
@Bels_Kaylar - yes, I live 12 feet from the house furnace fan
hmmm..the passion fart. yeeesh. bon appetit!
@SandraErickson - mmmmmm perfectly warm and soothing soup (least I warned passers by)
Johnsonville makes a good sausage. My favorite are their hot Italian sausages. I don’t like their bratwurst. There are so many meat markets in the area that make better.
@godfatherofgreenbay - you know i liketyheir sweet italians buour groers here hae abetter hot one linkand grind – the brats tobefair are okay store or johnsons- edge tothe storeainly for taste and alue
Is it good to use refried beans? I neve use those.
I do cooking but I do not know all.
What in the world is that last photo? Is it a hand blender? It took me the longest time to figure it out if it is.
yummm…I always say ” He who smelt it dealt it” so just don’t say anything ~ just saying
Also I’ve never heard of tomato bouillon but I’m going to look for it!
@SherryAngeLMysteriez - refried beans or bean pastesimilar to that of a bean paste for sesame dumpling is critical to easy Mexican food American Style. however, leave the sugar out.
. add some garlic. – refried beans are a base filling for burritos of all manner include just bean alone- tacos for lent period which is part of catholicism I am not catholic.. and of course totadas. beans unmashed are for rice and do well enough…and by unmashed some of them are about a third of them actually as such makes a rich soup/sauce however this gets out of indian cooking as in indian native emerican and into african/creole.
@sleekpunk - lol yes that is a hand blender
@mlbncsga - I hope you hae said in your area- it is becoming this years hot ingredient- and yeah lets hope I stay silent about it
@Bels_Kaylar - I have a friend who swears fresh pineapple gets rid of the ‘gas’ issues with beans.
Sounds like a good dinner to me!
@moniet - oh lol, one upon a way back when – I did up a post on the magical aphrodisiac, Garlic. I wass first interested in proof it was considered as such- then what it does in the real world of biology…the second thing of study showed nothing much out there but that it eliminated lower intenstinal complaint gas and belly aching… this i got quite the laugh at as such is in a weird way an aphrodisiac… a mate not complaining…magical indeed that aphrodisiac? the drawback was and still is bad breath and later a n odor excreted like all chemicals of strong scent through our pores… but the trade off is clear, someone not belly-aching about it
remember it said nothing about virility just lack of gas and complaint after dinner…how very very sexy.
@starmanjones - lol I love some of the tales about foods, like the magical powers of garlic and oysters and such.
@moniet - I’ll try to remember magic foods and share some if I can find credible resources.
cilantro/chinese parsley is goode but how good was the hard to find source. pomegreanates are in the superfoods group and interestingly all the seeds are dgrown in a fractal – a fancy mathy thing – but super foods are mono-nutrient sources and thus ultimately are not any good nutritionally without a lot of other things…even a simple hamburger is bread and meat two things and thus boring but posessed of enough variety to be ultimately healthier as a on a nutrition intake thing. however that source requires a trip to the library as I hav e to cite a non internet based source. it may not seem like much but one occassionally must know whats the dose – when tryng to compare food as medicine… happier heathen is a whole plant kind of fellow and i liked and sold essential oils for a spell- but before you get your hopes up, it takes ages to demonstrate how fricken boring but required that essential oils are medicine and yay. I CAN find the measurement sources… but ultimately making this a short blog is tough. needless to say the outcome of the efficacy of essential oils as an alternative source of medicine is poor as choices go being that the effective chemicals? produce effects you don’t get isolated as well as within pills, thus marjoram oil =hich is a tranquilizing – muscle relaxant also is a diuretic or pee pill – but at $45 for 225 doses of which at the time I was 1/4 heavier is 2-6 drops or divide 225 by 2-6and allllll of a sudden you’re paying for muscle relaxants which are the black market price or more than going to a doctor. not to mention tranqs don’t help a person move around all motivated
@starmanjones -
Very cool! Marjoram is one of my favorite flavor herbzzzzzZZZZzzz lol
@moniet - its a cousin of oregano – so now ya know. – as for herbsI dont knowI’ve bought and used more cilantro garlic blend for the spices
I’m not crazy about cilantro, it tastes like soap to me at times. Love garlic though, If I didn’t have onions, garlic and mushrooms I couldn’t cook much that I’d enjoy eating regularly.
@moniet - lol – I said that because lettuce isn’t in herb cabbage is in the veggies along with the non-typical greens… I’ve 10 days into this month and have used more cilantro than red crushed pepper so by use of HERBS ciilantro – If I’d tossed in a bottle of horehound – then maybe i could say horehound is the herb of choice
Love horehound candy, never cooked with it though. What do you put that in? And where do you get it…I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in the stores here.
@moniet - horehoundhorehound-dried outside of kandy – kough drops; there is adding this to root beer which is fairly straight-forward to brew – I havent tried
