@starmanjones - lol I know that’s a ton of work, it’s funny the things one works hardest on often never get much in comments, I’ve seen that on my site for years. I’ve posted photos that literally took me hours to take, download, photoshop, upload, and then write about, and they get one or even no comments.
@moniet - I hear that! I just ran across a few posts like that. interestingly enough for me and please don’t be offended, I’ve stopped reading stories around here as in in xangaland- not because they aren’t good but because I just sift through page after page, yes even of my own stuff, and all to naught, I try more yes pander pander to keep the views and content to one page only even stories. and content even in stories if i ever write another morepicture driven. why? because I like comments
but occassionally I must try out longer projects too this is one. hold youll get a message to that effect so you can see how my lil brain works. and why I’m actually fairly kind as a poster

@Bels_Kaylar - Well, most all are private now, but more than once I’ve gone to places specifically to take photos to post, or have taken time from trips to go take photos I may not have bothered to take, which I’d then come back with, upload, do the photoshop thing, then post, and write…and get…one comment of…”Oh, nice.” I also made a post one year, that I did research on how many deaths/missing/wounded had happened in all wars we’d had to that point…put it all into html tables, wrote about it, that one took days to do, and got so little notice that I deleted it. *Shrugs* Even now, there are a few back on my site that get less comments than I’d have hoped for, for the amount of effort put forth. Maybe they’re just boring to others…or maybe it’s so brilliant others are speechless! Hahaha! But yeah, I’m sure Josh has me beaten by sheer amount of work with this one, and a few others.

i remember, like yesterday, doing the work for comments, and playing the reciprocation game, of commenting on their site, so that i would get comments. now i do it for me and a few close friends here. and maybe the future, we’ll see. oxoo
@Bels_Kaylar - Yes at one point I was on here half the day trying to comment like a crazy person on every single post added to my list. Then I decided I needed a life…ha! I very seldom make those type of posts anymore, and I comment when/where I can, if I can’t get to a post that’s been added before the writer has left the original post, oh well. Is much easier on me that way…and I try to think on the posts of mine that don’t get much notice that others have a life too…and that’s a good thing!
