that’s a link to omg, it’s been three to four years since this treasure one of those four arrived and I haven’t framed it  I’ve just finished seeing thee most depressing brewing thing…why? all magic is lost when the trick is explained…. I hadn’t guessed all of those details and thus am bummed out I’m back on earth with the truth the unmagical truth.  I’m still in the mood to story for my favorite pal because, why not there are ideas we return to with new vigor or find again  or plain await the surprise that is there in the exercise of what I’m doing.

    you can too

pick a place and adventure us?

some like mr @rojobe get out.  I cook, pretend to write some.

lets take a look at these lidded baskets.  laquered of course, but what are they?  oddly enough I know to a western mind god help us this is for pot pourri and showing off… but not this western fellow.  I look at them….you know food’s coming….. and think  welll pot luck!  this is a great basket of dumplings!  or perhaps a rice bowl to bring the family rice to the table.

Now that’s a CORNER table!  oh of course you shop for the home of your dreams thinking  it’ll work out :D   look at the hell of getting that disparate array of tones to match a wester room egads you build a room around that piece.

I am on a mission to combine apples into this tour of china’s cradle of other people’s… this is not that picture – this is selling candied apples in kickass wooden hats… look at it’ we do flunky fabric and they have rattan hats!  damn!

    http://www.whatsonxiamen.com/menu_images/Live%20Abalone.jpg

look at that DAMN!  first glance this is visually boggling then…. well, I still don’t have a clue yet what’s in the middle but lets just give this away, fujian and apples came up with apple incorporated as in the computer company, and or apple travel tours… and? red apple..blah blah abolone fujian…. that gets me to deliberately search for abolone fulian.  this is abalone tappenyaki.  what I like is the little almost grenade exterior of the shellfish halved.  that is not entirely through knife scoring  and the green hit me as smaller bok choy or sorta wonky cabbageages atop foil scalloped to leave a pretty display… the link below lists it at rms 168 a person… and the multiple spoons indicate this is an appetizer :D heheheh joshy smart.  I can identify the red pepper spring onions either  bamboo shoots or water cress jullienne and that small piece of meat make a relish  it’s sauce and thus soy plays into this somewhere lol   but exactly the dish I can’t guess past a menu/recipe  so I’ll let you do so.

this from shanghai is the second highest rated beer.  it is apparent the world shrinks …agree?  but before we scoot off to other thoughts think now how yummy this can be with ab olone?

  • I’m thirsty for beer and thankfully this weekend I’ll quench my thirst at an outdoor beer drinking festival

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - festivell just a hell?  I also ran across a appl brew finisher tipset from everything to finished tastes altered with accepted sugarer -a dicussion on potassium sorbate which stalls wild yeast fermentation or was that potassium sulfite  anyways the magic clay cloud clearer bentonite clay….useless for ceramics useless to dangerous to build on, but? interestingly enough it helps give a soul a clear brew and stabelize shifting sands of dunes/deserts.  why fancy assholes talk about specificgravity as it allows a more duplicatably great you should brew baby brew….  y:D  product and isn’t all that scary as science goes :D .. but yeah if you read above and note I sent you an apple link to a grinder?  dude while you may want pthe beer more and I don’t blame you, seeing how  that think went together with the least metal possible and was frying oil conditioned and good for 3 seasons for those of us with budget considerations… ahhh  20 apples according to laird’s website makes a young apple jack spirit which is not required persay but your 11 pounds of apples?  heheheheheh

  • I like that corner unit. I like all that stuff at a distance, but when I go to the store inside the mall and look up close (don’t even have to look; just open a drawer), it’s not made very well. Sure is attractive, though, and if I had the money, I’d still consider buying it. Yum on the appetizer. Pretty terracing.

  • @sleekpunk - Iconsidered a dresser like that corner unit’s fancy laquering but as a dresser.  I suffered only in that I couldn’t match it with anything at all later …. bugggery I almost wish I’d paid for the hell anyways or let mom truly gift me.  I still have the wavy curved front stone top dresser I got which isn’t surviving its moves so well as it cracked two moves ago it’s seven years old though!  I also know I wont have a wozer antique of it ever period but I can retop it eventually and retain after a like stripping/standing… I still cuss moving it as my help’s gotten worse and people take to sliding down stairs not even protected stone top first.  I can’t carry it by myself either…just for the record.  this is part of the reason I resis furniture so much is I must try to care for it I get far less help it is  more likely it is not  so or in the case of dove tailing it is a possibility but, it is characterless machined than some.  I really am sick to death tired of explaining how to lift with me or at ve tailed joinery but with the furnituure’s safety in mind.  — the toilet above me ruined the fancy bedding when it let loose but before you go oh gross which I did :D   if it wasn’t me in the bed at the time, but I moved before the floor heaved three feet when the inspection cap never on the pip was discovered after leaking for months into the home…rawwwwwww sewage at depth.  ahhh.  as to the durability of the laquerware… you know? nothing lasts for ever but it is cheaper  but most interestingly it is also affordable it never used to be as easy to accquire.    and so much of life is more disposable to us or must be treasured so much more and people care less and less.  it is somewhat sad.  next there is the idea we still hand make things with dovetailing  it happens as people so strongly want that that machinery duplicates it.  however, it is the imprecision of yet still quality hand made pieces that is the prize.  anyways watch fiddler on the roof for me :D   watch how the machine, the sewing machine was the major prize how hand made was depised as lesser…  look now that in less than one hundred years where in we went and had a lllllot of  sex and doubled the population twice or more. times  and :D gone is that old world gone is that hand made … :D   the mastery.    to a degree which is sooo soo untrue but only the rarity is so much higher :D

  • hmmm. that sure looks like mango, scored for easier eating. looks yummy and i would never have thought of combining a fruit with green onions, or bok choi ;)

matching? just go gypsy ;)  love the drawing.

  • I want that guy’s funky wicker hat!

  • @plantinthewindow - /i didnt see one for sale – but oddly enough maybe pier oneimports could help
